Over the last 14 years, Australian Data Systems (ADS) has been heavily involved in the transfer of digital data between MicroStation and other industry specific application software. ADS translators are designed to: provide the user with as much control over the translation process as practicable; remove post translaion editing; and importantly, be simple to use.
The family of translators ADS has compiled to date are as follows:
Bi-directional Strings Translator for Datamine data with a wireframe (DTM) module.
Bi-directional Strings Translator for Surpac 1 & 2 data with a wire-frame (DTM) module.
Bi-directional Strings Translator for Micromine data Export using a fence or active levels.

Bi-directional Strings Translator for Medsystem survey strings data format, including fence export facilities and polygon creation.
User defined method of importing PFinder GPS data into Micro-Station. All elements created in MicroStation are placed to a user defined symbology standard.
