Creating PDF Files From Microstation
How do I create a PDF file from a MicroStation drawing?…is a question that is
being asked with increasing frequency lately. The PDF (Portable Document Format) is a file
format developed by Adobe, so you will need Adobe Acrobat to create a PDF file.

The following procedure may differ with different versions of Adobe
Acrobat, however, the concept should be much the same.

| Step 1: |
Start the Adobe Distiller Assistant.

| Step 2: |
In MicroStation, print/plot the drawing, the same way you normally would,
using the printer.plt plotter driver.

| Step 3: |
From the MicroStation Plot dialog box, select "Page Setup" and,
from the list of printers, select Adobe Distiller Assistant. |
| Step 4: |
Run the plot. Adobe will ask you to define a file name and location.
