Whilst we always encourage people to keep up with the latest software to take advantage of what the latest releases have to offer, sometimes, some of us old timers who learnt MicroStation on much earlier versions, prefer some of the older style dialog boxes to get the job done. Personally, I believe that the tool you are most comfortable with is the best tool for the job. So, if you’ve been pining for one of your old favourite dialog boxes from version 4 or 5, don’t worry, it’s probably still there. Pull out your key-in browser and scan down the first pick list until you find "dialog". Move across to the second pick list and have a look down the list. Most of the older style dialog boxes are there, you just have to find them.
