Dimension extension lines (the lines that connect a dimension to the element it dimensions) sometimes get in the way. For instance, they may overlap a centerline. In this case, you would like to turn them off so that they don’t cover up the line underneath them. This is accomplished with a key-in "Change Dimension Extension". This toggles the display of selected extension lines, or if there is no selection set, prompts you to select single extension lines to turn on or off.
