Some of the MicroStation Construction tools are only available through the Key-in Browser. The browser is available from the Utilities or Help pull down menus.
There are many Construct commands. Some are also accessed from toolboxes. One favorite is the Construct Perpendicular From/To. Just follow the prompts. These are very easy to use.
Construct Perpendicular From: Data Point 1 identifies the element to draw perpendicular to then move the cursor to place the second point. The second point will allow you to adjust the length of the perpendicular line.
