User Line Styles

If you have a linestyle that has text in it (like: ----- GAS -----) and you place this line from left to right it looks fine on the screen. But if you place this from right to left, the text is upside down.

This can be controlled within the linestyle.

Open the custom linestyle editor, and locate the Point component for your text symbol. Set the Rotation option to "Adjusted", leaving the angle at 0.000. This will ensure that the symbol is always readable, regardless of which direction you draw your lines.

The three options under Rotation are:

Relative: Places the symbol oriented the way that it is attached to the stroke segment.

Absolute: Maintains the angle with witch the symbol was originally created.

Adjusted: Places the symbol oriented to be read from the bottom or right of the screen.
