There are two ways to place a cell and mirror it. The first is to place it and then select the mirror tool to mirror it about the horizontal or vertical axis……simple. Another, and also a quicker way, is to use a negative scale value. Say, for example, you want to place a cell at a scale of 1 in the x and y directions. Placing a –1 in the x scale field in the "place cell" tool setting will mirror the cell about the x axis (mirror horizontal), likewise a –1 in the y scale field will mirror it about the y axis (mirror vertical).
