- SmarTools™
- Productivity tools for MicroStation are an essential ingredient in completing a project
in a timely manner. SmarTools, a collection of productivity tools for those
organisations directly involved in 2D schematic drafting. The tools contained in SmarTools
have all been developed at the request of MicroStation users, so you can be assured the
tools have practical application.
- CartoMap™
- CartoMap is Map Projection Management software that enhances the capabilities of
MicroStation with projection, de-projection, graticule generation, element placement,
element scaling and labelling (q,l) functionality. CartoMap provides the MicroStation user
with the ability to import or export ASCII geographically coordinated data, plus conduct
Affine transformations. A comprehensive range of projections (eg. Universe Transverse
Mercator, Equidistant Simple Conic...Mollweide) and spheroids (including user defined) are
supported in CartoMap. Datum Shifts (Bursa-Wolf, NTv2 and NADCON) can also be conducted.
All settings can be saved to a parameter file for use in another MicroStation session.
- dgnAudit™
- dgnAudit will trawl your entire system and produce an audit report for all design files
it encounters, regardless of file extension. If you are a CartoMap user it will also
give you the projection and zone details.
This audit report will also report file statistics and highlight potential problems with
design files such as: reference files, raster reference files, embedded images,
ImageManager projects, reference file clippings. It can also be used as input to
CartoMaps' batch transformation function.
The potential time savings are enormous and the benefits of having this information cannot
be calculated.
- BackIt™
- BackIt is an MDL application designed to perform user defined time interval backups of
an active design file during a drawing session. BackIt can be started automatically when
MicroStation is initially invoked or run session by session. BackIt functions silently in
the background with the user unaware of its operation. BackIt provides the user with the
ability to select target directories for backup DGN files, user defined number of cyclic
backup actions, when a backup is being conducted, an optional flagging dialog box can be
opened and/or a beep alert sounded.
- GeoTools™
- Productivity tools for MicroStation are an essential ingredient in completing a project
in a timely manner. GeoTools is an MDL application consisting of nine (9) productivity
tools for those organisations involved in earth science related drafting. The tools
contained in GeoTools have all been developed at the request of MicroStation users, so you

- GeoLink™
- GeoLink is a collection of MDL (MicroStation Development Language) programs, written by
Australian Data Systems. These programs provide additional functions that are not a
standard part of MicroStation or MicroStation GeoGraphics.
- Cellvage™
- A Cell reconstruction utility which searches the active design file for symbols that
have been "dropped" and then replaces them with a nominated cell, maintaining
both scale and rotation.

- A series of bi-directional MicroStation translators for data from application software
