Feature Summary

CartoMap is specialised application software that enhances the mapping capabilities of MicroStation with projection, de-projection, graticule generation, element placement, labelling and ASCII import/export functionality. Developed by Australian Data Systems as an MDL application, CartoMap comfortably co-exists with and complements Bentley Systems suite of application software.

CartoMap is currently being employed in a wide range of organisations involved in mapping the earths surface - Local, State and Federal Government Authorities, Mining, Exploration and Petroleum companies, the Military, Instrumentalities, Cartographers, Geographers, Gas Electricity Utilities, and Educational Institutions.

CartoMap is available for the following platforms; DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows '95, Windows NT, Unix and is MicroStation Version 5 , 95, SE, J and V8 compliant.

CartoMap's functionality is accessed through a six icon palette. The icons conceal either tear off palettes or a dialog box for entering a project's parameter settings. The main features of CartoMap are:
