MicroStation Development

ADS have been developing MicroStation applications for more than ten years and many of those applications are recognised as the best available by MicroStation users all over the world.

Resources

ADS has a team of highly qualified people dedicated to CAD support, development and training and they are all located in Perth. More importantly, our support team is comprised of people with a combination of skills, including drafters, analyst/programmers, trainers and people with extensive hardware, network and operating system experience. No other support provider in the region can provide this range of abilities.

Research indicates that more than 80% of CAD support calls are problems associated with hardware, configuration and operating system issues. Because our people come from a variety of backgrounds we are able to deal with all types of problems from the "how do I ...?" to the "my MDL program isn't working properly…" In addition, the disciplined logic of the programmers enables us to analyse a problem - and solve it - more quickly, while their ability to think outside the square often results in outcomes that are both more efficient and more effective. For the 20% of problems which are drafting or discipline related, we have support staff who have extensive drafting experience. We also have extensive knowledge of GIS having developed a product called GISStation in 1992.

Systems Integration Skills

ADS has been working in the Systems Integration area for almost 20 years. We have extensive experience with many hardware and software systems on a wide range of operating systems. We are able to assist with the integration of CAD with other software whether it be an internally developed dBase application or a third party software package across a wide range of operating systems.
